~ABOUT ME ~
I am a mixed-ethnicity woman that feels a calling to unite people across barriers. My background is in International Relations and Environmental Policy. Art and Expression has always been an integral part of my life, and I believe that creativity is essential to birthing a new world.

The main jewelry and design techniques I are use are, laser-cutting, metal fabrication, ceramics, screen-printing, and wire-wrapping! I am mostly self-taught but have recently picked up metal-fabrication and 3D printing techniques. My family taught me how to be resourceful and creatively re-use materials around me, in general. This influenced my values, and am able to see how things can be given a second life.

Now, I incorporate pieces that I attract from the different places I visit, then re-purpose them; giving them a rebirth. I have a flair to attracting treasures from many sources, and work with merchants that travel to find unique pieces from around the world. It is never guaranteed that I will ever find the same pieces to take apart and work with, therefore the some of the custom jewelry I create, can rarely be re-created the same exact way.

~AIR PLANT JEWELRY~
Air Plant Earrings/Body Jewelry serve as a connection to our environment and our air quality; Although they are our friends, they are also warning indicators for the state of the world. Just like a Canary Bird in a coal mine, they are a reflection of the wider environment around us. They stick by us, into the depth of the reality of climate change, and mass extinction. Yet they are a seed of hope that a society in symbiosis with nature is possible!

The plant amulets come in many styles, and usually have a removable option. They are removable so that you can swap them out, if needed, or let them roam free! Plants sit inside Temples in the forms of Orbs, Hoops, or Sacred Geometry. They are also adorned with crystals, tassels, hemp, pinecones, and even personalities!

~ ABOUT AN-KANJI~
My art work involves reconnecting sacred patterns and symbols across Ancient cultures, to create a new meaning but also a meaning that has existed for an infinite amount of time before me and also ahead of me.

Ankanji is a language that is a union of Kanji and Sacred Kemetic symbols. I unite wisdom from Japan, my direct ancestral root, with that of our universal ancestors. It is Enlightening to connect these dots of our past to find so much Synchronicity.

Currently, there is a force attempting to wash out the diversity, in culture, and in the biosphere. There is a “Mass-Forgetting” of our ancestral roots and our connection to source energy. As a result, there is mass environmental destruction, false individuality, disconnection.

In times like these, awakening to our true essence, and sharing our wisdom can heal our planet. My intention is to create jewelry that can help channel our eco-wisdom, and our ancestral-wisdom to protect and guide us in these times.
