The Town of Easton, Department of Health & Community Services provides local curb-to-curb transportation for essential services to destinations listed in the Weekly Shuttle Bus Schedule for Easton residents. Rides for medical appointments are available Monday through Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm. Rides are dependent on driver and van availability to destinations within the local service area (Easton, Brockton, and parts of Mansfield, Norton, Raynham, Sharon, West Bridgewater, and Stoughton) 

We will continue to be offering no sign-up-required Wednesday shopping trips as well. We will be stopping at areas in our community that may have limited transportation throughout the day to provide pick up and drop off. Check our website or newsletter for updates.


Pricing
The suggested donation is $4 round trip for Easton destinations and $6 round trip for destinations in surrounding towns. Discount shuttle punch cards are also available.

How to Book a Ride
Due to increased ridership, we strongly recommend calling 5 days or more in advance for medical rides. If you are in a wheelchair, we recommend an aide accompany you, for safety reasons, and because we are curb-to-curb, the drivers are not able to go into homes and medical offices. For rides to destinations listed in the Weekly Shuttle Bus Schedule, please call the Frothingham Hall at least 3 business days in advance.

Ride cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance (not including weekends and holidays). If the office is not open, please leave a message on our voicemail.  For pick-up time, call after 3:00pm the day before scheduled ride.

Changes in transportation are starting to take shape! HCS is happy to announce that we have two new part-time drivers to aid us in rolling out some new and exciting transportation initiatives. We have been working on expanding our offerings and we are excited to introduce a new, no sign-up-required, Wednesday shopping trip to Roche Bros. Plaza (Dollar Tree, Roche Bros., CVS, and more) for our residents in need of transportation. We will soon be offering no sign-up-required weekend shopping trips as well. We will be stopping at areas in our community that may have limited transportation throughout the day to provide pick up and drop off.
