Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium CLOSED on Friday, May 3
The Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium will be closed on Friday, May 3, 2024, for a private event. Trails and grounds will remain open from dawn to dusk for all to enjoy. Learn more about renting the Center for your next gathering.
Audubon invites all Rhode Islanders to get out and discover the joy of birding! FREE birding walks are offered throughout the month of May at locations across the state. Novice birders are welcome. Just grab your binoculars, join an Audubon expert, and search for spring migrants on the trails! Programs are free, but advance registration is required at asri.org/calendar.
Rhode Island businesses are no longer permitted to sell pesticides containing neonicotinoids to untrained users. You can continue to support pollinators by holding accountable local businesses that sell landscaping products.
Birds' lives are tough and their work is nonstop. The very least we can do to ensure their success is to make their jobs as easy as possible…by protecting habitats and resources critical to their needs.
Bring the kids and head out on the trails to search for frogs or build fairy houses in the forest. There are turtle races, owl pellet dissections, crafts, games and more! Audubon offers vacation week fun at six locations across the state to keep the kids busy, engaged and immersed in nature. Note that registration is required unless noted.
