The stand is open throughout the June to October harvest season, beginning with the first summer vegetables and ripe blueberries, and ending with oleo nuovo. Look for the Velma’s Farm Stand sign visible from Highway 128, about two miles north of Boonville.

Velma’s Farm Stand is named in honor of Velma Farrer, who worked this ranch alongside her husband for over 60 years. Filigreen’s restored farm stand sits on the same site as Velma’s original roadside stand. Velma is remembered for her contributions to the Valley’s schools and historical society museum, and for her role in saving the old-growth redwoods that now make up Hendy Woods State Park.
