Aquario Restaurant is a Portuguese and Brazilian restaurant that oversees the beautiful Silver Lake in West Harrison, New York and is just minutes from bustling White Plains. The views in the main dining room take diners to Portugal with the scenic murals that surround them. The cuisine is pleasing to all because of its diversity. Aquario serves everything from the freshest fish to the most tender cuts of meat to the most succulent poultry. Fresh vegetables and rice and beans accompany every meal and desserts seduce even the most discerning eye.
While the restaurant opened its doors in 1993, its history actually begins much earlier. Owner and Manager, Manuel Cabral, began imagining and designing his ideal restaurant as a young boy in Portugal. After working in various restaurants in Portugal’s capital city, Lisbon, Mr. Cabral came to the United States where he continued learning his craft in restaurants throughout New York City. Understanding and knowing the importance of freshness and quality in preparation, Mr. Cabral called upon Tony Correia , Head Chef. Mr. Correia brought with him years of experience in a 5 star restaurant in Portugal. After gathering his quality staff, Manuel Cabral settled in Westchester County to open Aquario—the restaurant of his dreams and hard work. |
