My husband has leukemia and suffers from night sweats. Our air conditioner was not working properly. We notified the front desk and was told they would take care of it right away. We went to dinner and came back 3 hrs later and they still had not been to our room. We called again and they said they would be there right away. We went out for cocktails and came back and they still had not fixed it. When we called a third time they said they talked to engineering and that it cold not be fixed until the next day. They offered to bring us a potable air conditioner right away and we said ok. After an hour and they still did not show up we finally just went to bed. 30 min later a knock on the door and they brought us a fan. Extremely disappointed. We were out that next day and came home in the late afternoon. It was still not fixed and we just gave up on them ever fixing it. This is terrible service!!

The staff always extended a warm welcome when we entered back into the hotel. The lobby area and fire pits were also a great place to relax and enjoy!
We stayed as part of the recent Porsche club event. Loved the facilities, staff were very friendly/helpful and the breakfast was one of the better buffet option events we've had. Room was very consistently clean during our stay, we appreciated housekeeping's attention to detail (sounds like it should be obvious, but not all places are this attentive!). A few random minimal items to consider for improvement: your website information on what is included in the resort fee is not updated - i.e. water in rooms. We thought ours was missing so called the front desk and they brought us some for free, but the language on your site and literature should likely be updated to avoid guest confusion. Next, when we checked in there was confusion on the part of the front desk about parking. Our club should have put signage out by the valet garage to remind us that we could park in the garage for free, but there was no sign so we asked at check in about this. The front desk person told us we could pay to valet park, which was incorrect, and caused more confusion. They also didn't seem to be very informed about some basic club event check in details. Understand that the primary communication for these things falls to our club, yet it would be helpful for all staff to be aware of some of the basics, such as parking. These are both very minor comments, but figured I would share. Thank you for your hospitality!

Overall a nice place. Several guests agreed that the breakfast was good but not as Luxe as the Fairmont Banff breakfast.
We loved the resort and the employees. The wine tasting was an excellent touch. Would have like a hot tub available for use around the pool.
hated our first room - bellman was GREAT in trying to get us into another room and although it didn't work, it was super sweet that he tried. guy at front desk, unfortunatey I forgot his name was also great and did end up giving us another room (obviously for alot more money) but it was fine. Food at the nicer restaurant was terrible. I didn't complain but waitress had manager come over as she saw we barely touched our plates and disounted the dinner. Rest of the trip the food was o., although at our last dinner which is not the hotel's fault, to only offer steak or tofu was ridiculous! Neither of which I could eat. Again, staff were great.

It is a beautiful resort and the staff was terrific. However, having stayed at other Fairmont Hotels I was a bit disappointed on a number of fronts. Frist, I couldn't find an ice-maker that worked within 100 yards of my room. The one across my door was out of order the entire time I was there. And in front of the building across my room was also broken- all week long. Sure- I could call for ice but that is not always convenient and sometimes an unnecessary intrusion. One of my basins did not drain properly the whole week I was there. Should I have to report this or how is the sink washed w/o someone noticing and addressing this? Lastly. it is beyond absurd to have to wait on a long line at the restaurant every morning to get a simple cup of coffee. Lesser hotel brands have coffee stations set up in the lobby with easy access. Overall, I expected Four Seasons- felt like I got a lot less. None of this should detract from the excellent service from the staff.
Stay was good, staff helpful and friendly, rooms nice and clean, pleasant environment. Only real complaint is that the restaurant is overpriced for what you get.
