This year, Instruments A Comin' (IAC) is doing a live auction AND an on-line auction! Different items will be offered at each, so keep up with the site to see the wonderful items our generous donors have donated! The on-line auction begins on April 15th, and items that will be available only at the Benefit Concert will be available to view on this day as well.
In its ten year existence, the Tipitina's Foundation has provided new, high quality musical instruments for over 70 public, charter and parochial schools in the greater New Orleans area, impacting over 4,000 students annually. Proceeds raised from the silent auction and benefit concert are used to purchase music instruments for local schools who apply and demonstrate need.
This year's Instruments A Comin' benefit concert, silent auction and community arts fair, benefiting the JPSO “Band Of Excellence” and local school music programs will now allocate part of its proceeds for music relief and recovery efforts in Japan. Japanese beneficiaries include Yoshio and Keiko Toyama’s Wonderful World Jazz Foundation, and the Swing Dolphins youth big band.

The first shipment of instruments has arrived in Japan!
Watch this heartwarming video of the Swing Dolphins youth jazz band thanking Tipitina's Foundation and New Orleans for new instruments. The group will soon play for local shelters in the badly damaged area they are living in. Amongst tragedy, music can give hope and peace and we are proud to be a part of that.

General Admission Tickets are $40. VIP tickets are $200 and include upstairs balcony access, complimentary food, access to the Tchoup House and an open bar from 8:30 pm to midnight hosted by Glazer's.
