The Hollywood Arts Council enjoyed a wonderful event at the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on March 25th. The Council saluted those in our community making a difference through the arts. Charlie Award recipients of 2011 included: Larry King, Celebration Theatre, The Nine O'Clock Players, L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future, Sunset Gower Studios, LaBelle at the Hollywood Tower & Starline Tours.
The Council is grateful to all who attended and helped make the 25th Annual Charlie Awards the best yet!

The proceeds from this fundraiser and the online auction support the Council's programs for young people--Project S.O.A.R. (Students Overcoming All Risks) after school art workshops held in our elementary schools and the 26th Annual Children's Festival of The Arts coming in August.
