Raising funds for the broadcast voice of the people of southern Maine... that's what we're about.  Starting on June 1, 2011, WMPG Community Radio will be auctioning off dozens of fun and unique items. The more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.  Show your support by clicking on the "Donate Items" button to contribute to our catalog.

Community Radio is about YOU -- whether you listen to Community Radio, or vounteer to make great Community Radio... whether you are a local listener/supporter, a long-distance listener who streams WMPG... When you bid on any of the fantastic items that have been donated to WMPG, you are bidding on great stuff, but you are also supporting Community Radio in southern Maine.  Volunteer-run, with a fascinating schedule of eclectic programming, WMPG makes radio for and by just plain folks.  Your neighbors, your co-workers... YOU!  Just about anyone can add their talents, on-air and off, to WMPG.  WMPG meets its modest budget needs by raising funds in the community through events, on-air pledge drive and with the support of local businesses. This auction will raise funds for the operations budget of WMPG, where every dollar is put to good use to bring you fresh, live local radio... a treat for your ears... an essential for your brain.

Auction Highlights

Our auction team has been busy gathering up items for the auction... and we are excited!  Concert tickets, dining experiences, hotels and inns, lots of great music, gifts from local businesses, music memorabilia... so much more.  And the item that has been getting the most attention around the station?  The James Brown Action Doll that sings "I Feel Good" while the Godfather of Soul dances!
