The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation (Foundation), a non-profit, public, charitable 501 (c ) (3) organization, supports projects that focus on education, environmental and economic development issues concerning agriculture and its impact on consumers and communities.
The Foundation was created in 1985 by Ohio's largest agricultural membership organization, the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation (OFBF). Over 235,000 families living throughout Ohio's rural, suburban and urban neighborhoods belong to OFBF.
The Animals for Life Foundation (AFL), a 501 (c) (3) non profit, charitable organization, was formed in 2009. The organization focuses on increasing acceptance and understanding of human-animal interdependency, and works to achieve public recognition that animals bring value to human life each day.
The Ohio Center on Agricultural Law (OCAL), a new a 501 (c) (3) non profit, charitable organization, was formed in 2010. OCAL provides education in agricultural law matters and operates as a public interest law firm to participate in litigation and other legal matters of importance to the agricultural community and of broad public interest.
Proceeds from the auction will be used to support each organization's grant, scholarship and/or public outreach programs.
