Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District No. 35 is a growing, dynamic public school district covering approximately 265 square miles. It includes six rural communities with populations ranging from 200 to 11,000 inhabitants; Rio Rico being the largest. The district operates six schools. Approximately 3,500 students were enrolled during the 2010-2011 school year.
