Item Description
Vintage copy of the souvenir program "MOTOWN 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever" anniversary celebration which took place on March 25, 1983, in Pasadena, California, USA; and was first broadcast on the NBC Television Network in the USA in May, 1983. This program was given to each of the guests who attended the 1983 event.
It is an 8-page publication on semigloss paper, measuring 8.75 x 11.75 inches, printed in full color (cmyk) and metallic silver (PMS 877).
Four pages are dedicated to the cover and the event credits; and four pages are dedicated to historical photographs of Motown artists past, present, and enduring (thus the theme "Yesterday, Today, Forever"). This event was notable for, among other things, Mickael Jackson's first live public performance of the "Moonwalk", a dance step that would become his signature move.
