Item Special Note
Project: Battered Bastards is a collection of garments ranging from semi-formal to casual wear, all of which are inspired by the men of the 506th PIR, Easy Company, who fought in World War II. Each garment is inspired both by a single soldier as well as the company as whole. Proceeds from sales of these garments will benefit Jumping for Heroes in the aide of constructing a memorial to the late Major Dick Winters and other heroes in Normandy.
The name "Project: Battered Bastards" comes from what the men of Easy Company were called by American Newspapers during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944- "The Battered Bastards of Bastogne."
"Project: Battered Bastards" made its runway debut at the WMPG Fashion Show Benefit 2011.
