Item Description
Conor Dwyer won a gold medal as a member of the winning U.S. 4x 200-meter freestyle relay team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. A Chicago native, he graduated Loyola Academy in Wilmette with several honors in swimming and water polo.
In 2010, he won individual titles at the NCAA national championships in the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle, and was honored as the NCAA Swimmer of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Dwyer was also named Southeastern Conference Swimmer of the Year in both 2010 and 2011. He finished his college career at the University of Florida with twelve All-American honors and three NCAA titles and continues to train with former Gator swimmer Ryan Lochte as a member of Gregg Troy's Gator Swim Club.
