Item Description
The Pedroncelli family have been established vintners in Sonoma county’s Dry Creek Valley since 1927. Over several generations the reputation of Pedroncelli wines has risen to national prominence, and the winery in its latest generation has established the highest sustainable practices, and is 70% women-owned with a woman winemaker—the outstanding Montse Reese.
The winning bidder on this item will receive six bottles each of two single-vineyard wines.
2017 Courage, Dry Creek Valley, Faloni Vineyard Zinfandel. Third-generation grower Dave Faloni’s family vineyard is a neighbor of Pedroncelli’s property and an expert in producing prime Zinfandel grapes. The wine is dark ruby in the glass, full-bodied with lush red berry, vanilla, deep spice and bramble flavors and a long, delicate smoky finish.
2016 Wisdom, Dry Creek Valley, Pedroncelli Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Pedroncelli’s estate vineyard was first planted in 1965 in rocky, loamy soil with a micro-climate perfect for growing Cabernet. The 2016 Wisdom was a vintage year for mild acids, round tannins, high-intensity color and flavors including dark berry, black plum, touches of anise and cedar and velvety oak notes. Its complexity and depth make it wonderful to drink now, or cellar for up to 10 more years.
Also included is a VIP tasting pass for 4 people with 15% wine discount and 10% merchandise discount during your visit.
