Item Description
Only EIGHT of these special bottles were produced.
David Ramey is one of California's best and most respected winemakers. A veteran of several premier wineries, he opened his own winery in 2002, dedicated to respect for the land, harmony of Old World traditions with New World innovations, and the production of high-quality, handcrafted wines with balance and richness.
This item is an etched 3-Liter bottle (also known as a Double Magnum or a Jeroboam) of the Ramey Platt Vineyard 2011 Chardonnay. Planted in 2003 and the coolest climate of Ramey vineyard sources, the Platt yields crisp acidity and minerality to the wine. Aged for 20 months in oak barrels, the wine is lush and bright with pear and peach notes and a long mineral finish.
