The Wisconsin Library Association Foundation (WLAF) is preparing to run its inaugural ONLINE Auction Fundraiser!

From Tuesday, October 26 through Tuesday, November 9, 2010, the Wisconsin Library Association Foundation will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to raise money to support Foundation activities and programs.

Your participation is an invaluable part of our fundraising efforts.  Through your bids, you'll be supporting Wisconsin libraries AND be sharing the fun and excitement of the Foundation's annual Silent Auction event with WLA members attending this year's Annual Conference at the Kalahari Resorts, Wisconsin Dells, WI. (November 2-5, 2010)

The Wisconsin Library Association Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) organization, supports the role of all types of Wisconsin libraries as essential institutions in a democratic society through:

  • Financial support for awards and honors recognizing WI authors, libraries, librarians and library supporters.
  • Scholarships to library students and current practicing librarians.
  • Developing and funding studies/special projects that promote the value of WI libraries such as the current public relations Campaign for Wisconsin Libraries.
  • Support of the Wisconsin Library Heritage Center to promote understanding and appreciation of the history of WI libraries and librarianship.

Please note:  All auction items will be delivered to the winning bidder via the Wisconsin Libraries' Delivery Network whenever possible.  If this method or any other no cost shipping or pickup option is not available, shipping costs will be the responsibility of the winning bidder.
