The Commemorative Walp's Family Restaurant Cook Book features over 225 favorite recipes from the beloved Walp's Family Restaurant which was in business from 1936 - 1998 in Allentown, PA.
This spiral-bound book is autographed by Frank Nikischer, Sr., the former owner of Walp's who compiled the recipes for the book.
Recipes include favorites such as schnitz un knepp, Shoofly pie, potato pancakes, baked ham loaf, funnel cake, scrapple, boovashenkle, chow chow, hot bacon dressing, raisin pie, Walp's dinner rolls, baked corn pie, corn fritters, and much more!

This book is dedicated to the Walp Family, to the faithful employees over the restaurant's 62 years in business, and to the loyal customers who supported Walps through the years. A special note states that among the recipes included in this book, many are personal and private recipes that have never been published before.
