And this isn't your everyday variety! This is a hat with a very interesting historical background.
This top quality six-beaver classic brown cowboy hat was made by R. Anthony & Co. in the 1970s. Size 7 ½.
It was presented to C. Mark Smith by Edison Real Bird, Chief of the Crow Nation, on the occasion of the 1994 Custer Battlefield Reenactment while Smith served as Regional Director of the Federal Economic Development Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce.
The beaded head band was made by made by Chief Real Bird's wife. The hawk feather was picked up from the ground by Real Bird and given to Smith with the comment that it meant eternal good fortune.
