Item Description
Collectible Surgi Doll by Colleen Schindler-Lynch: Habotai Silk, Raw Silk, Drawing Inks, Bleach, India Ink, Embroidery thread, Cotton.
Sisu is a Finnish term that is about psychological strength. It encompasses resilience, tenacity, determination, and sustained courage.
I grew up in southern Ontario. Once, we went to see the monarch migration at Point Pelee. I could hear the butterflies before I could see them. As we rounded a bend, there was a tree covered in movement and colour. This is the last stop in Canada before they make their way across Lake Erie on their migration. Butterflies represent transformation and are symbols of Guardian Angels.
