Item Description
Have you been tempted to pull out your woody, overgrown shrubs and replace them with new bushes? STOP! Save yourself time and money by keeping your established landscaping. With proper pruning, your large, mature flowering plants can be restored to their former shapely beauty. Donor will provide 2 1/2 hours of expert pruning and/or will teach you how to do it yourself.
Ideal pruning time is in June, after a shrub has flowered. Easiest time (if you don't care about amount of bloom the following spring) is late winter, early spring, or late fall, when the shape of the plant is most visible.
Item Special Note
This item is available only to First Church members and friends who live in Belmont, Watertown, Arlington, Lexington, or Cambridge.
Woody flowering shrubs strongly preferred (no conifers please). Ideal time for pruning is after blooming. Donor prefers to work with you.
