Item Description
This is a unique opportunity for your party of four (4) to join Dr. Laurie Marker and two sea hosts on a private and exclusive two hour sailing adventure exploring the beautiful Monterey Bay National Sanctuary. You will enjoy delicious appetizer's and wine as Dr. Marker regales you with cheetah stories!
Leaving the Santa Cruz Harbor, you will enter the world famous Monterey Bay Sanctuary. You will get very close to sea otters in the California kelp forest, along with sea lions, cormorants, pelicans and seagulls, and possibly spot grey whales, humpback whales, Orcas or dolphins. You will enjoy Santa Cruz landmarks the way they look best, from the sea - Steamers Lane, the surf museum, Santa Cruz Wharf, and the Beach Boardwalk. Bring your camera, a light windbreaker, and wear comfortable shoes.
Your sailing adventure will be aboard the gorgeous Catalina 34 sailing yacht “Inspiration”. Your skipper will be Captain Randy Sparks, a longtime cheetah advocate who has sailed around the world. Your first mate will be
Josanne Virene, another longtime cheetah advocate and CCF volunteer.
