Item Special Note
ABOUT THE BUSINESS: Stone Block Antiques is the latest manifestation of a 40 year history in the antiques business. As a picker, Word of Mouth Antiques was my first business, which morphed into Marguerite Galvin Antiques, an homage to my grandmother, owner of The Shrubbery Antiques in Sharon, CT when I was young. Starting out as a collector and dealer of antique fishing tackle in the early 80's, my interests grew to include silver, fine art, furniture and a host of other materials. Stone Block Antiques opened in 1997 as a brick and mortar shop on Main Street in Vergennes, VT, where it remains to this day.
