Item Description
Follow in the wake of many other happy bidders and join skipper Lorne Riddell on the waters off Seattle, Washington for three days aboard Full Moon, an Island Packet 40. Lorne is a long-time supporter of the Lion's Roar Online Annual Auction.
Everything is included in this trip: meals, private berth, and shower. You can be part of the crew or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the San Juan islands, a favorite cruising ground with sailors.
Lorne will navigate the boat, departing from Annacortes, gateway to the San Juans, and the beginning of the inside passage. The ports-of-call from which the successful bidder will choose include Friday Harbor, Roach Harbor, Orcas Island, and San Juan Island itself.
For three days and three nights, the bidder and their guest or guests will get to experience the elements in a way that landlubbers rarely do. The boat will accommodate at least two adults and a couple of kids or up to four adults in two berths with a private head and shower. There is one main salon with a full kitchen: freezer, microwave, fridge, and three-burner stove. Meals are included. With a little help, the skipper can even do vegan!
August to late Fall is when whale-watching is at its best. There are three pods of Orca whales that commonly greet visitors and check them out. The boat, an Island Packet 40, is no longer made but you can view similar boats at Island Packet Yachts. Shuttles are available to Seatac airport right from the boat.
Note: the successful party or parties should be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
