Three day/two night stay in a Deluxe Ocean View Room. Tucked away on the northern end of Miami beach and a mere 15 minutes from all of South Beach’s high-end shopping, the St Regis Bal Harbour Resort puts a coconut oil smeared tick on the location checkbox. But, what really sets this beachside hotel apart from the - many - other luxury hotels in the area, are its looks.
The lobby (grandiose, with shiny dark marble flooring, soaring ceilings and extravagant crystal chandeliers) would look right at home on the set of Mad Men. So would the sultry blend of black marble and shiny gold leaf in the St Regis Bar. Shoot up to the rooms however, and a neutral color palette along with spectacular ocean views from the terrace make for one of the most soothing places to return to in the evenings, or to share a glass of bubbly alfresco. For some of the best burgers in South Beach, head for the hotel’s BH Burger Bar with its customizable menu and for its best sundowners, take your pick from any of the hotel’s oceanfront infinity pools.
