For a small town, Concord has a big history. From the “shot heard round the world” to the writers of the American literary renaissance, things have happened here, words have been spoken here, and books have been written here that changed the face of a nation.
The Concord Museum is home to one of the oldest collections of historical, literary, and decorative arts treasures in the country - open to the public since before the Civil War. You'll find the famous 1775 Revere lantern, the desk where Henry Thoreau penned Walden, the study of Ralph Waldo Emerson, and more.

Item Special Note
The Museum is open 10 am to 4 pm Thursday through Sunday, and tickets must be reserved in advance through the museum's website. Passes are not valid during special events. Expires August 2022.
