Item Description
Published by the Yonkers planning bureau in 1986. Text and photographs by Michael P. Rebic. This 186 page soft cover book in superb condition is a wonderful insight into the architecture and the very long history of Yonkers. The book is replete with many historically significant photographs. It is truly a treasure viewing this pictoral history and a deep dive into the architecture found in Yonkers. After reading, the viewer cannot escape the conclusion that many landmarks have been lost for a variety of reasons, but fortunately there are still quite a number that remain.
