The online portion of The Unicorn Ball is now open. The auction will run from March 1, 2017 to March 10, 2017, with the live event taking place on March 11, 2017. Proceeds go to Unicorn Children's Foundation in order to build communities of support, acceptance and opportunity for individuals and families challenged by neurodiversity. Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support our organization and mission.
The Unicorn Children’s Foundation is dedicated to building communities of support, acceptance and opportunity for individuals and families challenged by neurodiversity and special needs, such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning disorders. This is accomplished through innovative leadership, education and incubation of programs to help foster supportive communities and to help children with special needs thrive.
Our most recent initiatives include:
• Mobile Developmental Screening Clinics operated in partnership with University of Miami
• Creating Compassionate Children Campaign to create a culture of understanding, acceptance, inclusion, and respect in preschool and elementary school classrooms
• Spearheading coalitions to connect the community, advocate for special needs, and identify resources and solutions
• Provide Early Intervention Scholarships for Parent Coaching Sessions
• Supporting academic, life skills and career development at Unicorn Village Academy
