The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, formerly known as Christus Santa Rosa, is entirely dedicated to the care of children. The facility is specifically and innovatively designed to meet the unique needs of children, including a pediatric ER, neonatal intensive care unit, a center for maternity and motherhood and comprehensive cancer and blood disorders treatment center. The Children’s Hospital also provides a Spinal & Thoracic Treatment and Research Center, a Children’s Kidney Center, and community outreach with their Child Abuse Assessment Center. Annually the hospital will see more than 180,000 San Antonio children between inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services.
