On May 22nd, the Hoboken Dual Language Charter School (HOLA) will celebrate The Art of Language, a gala fundraiser, at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City. The event will consist of food and drinks, entertainment and live and silent auctions. Renowned designer and graffiti-artist, Eric Haze, as well as elected city and state officials, will attend the event and show support for HOLA - a recognized leader in dual-language education. To help raise funds, Haze has created an original one of a kind art piece which will sell as part of the event’s auction.
The Art of Language: Educating Global Citizens seeks to fund HOLA’s mission, educating global citizens by delivering a full immersion, dual language education and providing equal access to academic excellence in the community. At the Gala, guests and parents will unite to raise funds and cultivate a legacy of equity and global citizenship among Hoboken students. HOLA was just named a “model” program by the NJ Department of Education, one of only five schools in the state with that designation.
