The Online Auction is Open!
The online portion of Run For Kelli 2018 is now open. The auction will run from September 21, 2018, to September 29, 2018, with the live event taking place on September 30, 2018.
Proceeds go to Kelli Joy O'Laughlin Memorial Fund in order to spread joy and hope by providing opportunities for young people to fulfill their potential.
Auction items range from Kids Cherry Red Tesla to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!

Cross Country was one of Kelli O’Laughlin’s favorite sports when she was in middle school. In her name and memory, the Kelli Joy O’Laughlin Foundation is hosting its annual Run For Kelli on Sunday, September 30, 2018.
Kelli was a freshman at Lyons Township when her life was taken by a burglar in her home. Kelli’s family and much of the community come together to remember her, celebrate her life, and raise money for her foundation.
Run For Kelli Includes a 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk!
The course for the 5K winds its way around Lyons Township High School South Campus, following their Cross Country course, where Kelli attended school as a freshman in 2011. Last year, more than 900 runners, joggers, and walkers followed the 5K path to raise money for college scholarships to high school seniors throughout Illinois and the Chicago area. There are no streets used during this run and this year there will be water on the course at the 2-mile marker.
Runners prizes will be awarded for top 3 male and female finishers and top 3 female and male finishers in our age categories.

How we do this
By offering scholarships to high school students who have significant needs, but have demonstrated the potential for leadership, giving back to others and improving the communities in which they live
By offering summer scholarships to YMCA camps so young people can grow, learn, form new friendships and explore their future
