Nashville CARES is getting ready to run an online auction fundraiser.
Though the community cannot come together in person for large gatherings, we have reimagined our signature fundraising event. While we really wish that we could celebrate together in downtown Nashville, we look forward to doing our very best to ensure you still have a great gala experience.
Now more than ever, your donation will make a meaningful impact!
This year, Nashville CARES will be celebrating our 35th Anniversary. 35 years of service, love, loss, progress, and hope in ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee.
Starting August 14, Nashville CARES will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to raise money for our organization - and the more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.
On Saturday, August 22nd, our supporters will gather virtually for an evening of great entertainment, participate in both the live and silent auctions, and be a part of an inspirational program detailing the 35-year journey of Nashville CARES towards a bright future where HIV diagnoses are rare. This special evening will LIVE STREAM from the National Museum of African American Music!
Those who purchase tickets to the virtual gala will also be able to enjoy a dinner from their favorite restaurant delivered to their location, early access to the auction items, and will receive a "Virtual Swag Bag" that will include a beverage, an exclusively curated music playlist, and other goodies from our sponsors.

About Nashville CARES:
Nashville CARES is Middle Tennessee?s only comprehensive program working aggressively to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic. CARES provides services to youth and adults living with HIV and those at risk each year in 17 counties throughout Middle Tennessee. Clients never have to pay to use CARE?s services and to keep services free and accessible, we rely on the generous support of community members like you.
***To encourage more charitable giving in 2020, the recently enacted government stimulus bill (the "CARES Act") provides some additional tax relief for donors. Taxpayers who don?t itemize may now deduct up to $300 per year in charitable contributions. For 2020 only, the CARES Act allows itemizers to deduct contributions up to 100% of their AGI. The CARES Act increases the annual charitable deduction by a corporation that amounts to 25% of taxable income for 2020. Donations in excess of 25% may be deducted in the following five years.***
