DINE AND BUY ART WITH US! - Proceeds Support Wisconsin Restaurants, Musicians, Artists, and Students

In the wake of COVID-19, like the rest of the nation, Future Urban Leaders (FUL) had to become innovative in how we serve the nearly 200 youth and families that rely on our after school programs. We responded quickly by building an online presence that resembles our free programs scholars and families regularly participate in. We migrated our programs from the classroom to the internet, five-days per week using platforms like Zoom and google classroom to see, engage with, and maintain a solid connection to our students and help with their needs.

FUL provides year-round programming in arts & humanities, health and wellness, leadership & civic development, and college & career readiness. Our mission is about increasing the life outcomes for children in Milwaukee's underserved neighborhood through risk-reduction and increased accessibility to community resources.

Because everything we do is guided by our leadership principles and values, we needed to do our part in keeping Wisconsin strong during COVID-19. On May 21, 2020, Future Urban Leaders will host FUL Fest, a benefit concert and dinner experience to raise funds for Wisconsin small businesses, musicians, artists, and inner-city youth. The live virtual festival featuring bands and artists from around the region.

“This is an opportunity for people throughout Wisconsin to come together in support of Future Urban Leaders while lifting up musicians, restaurants, and their workers, many of whom are being disproportionately affected by Covid-19,” says FUL co-founder and program Ross Romenesko. “We’re all in this together.”

Benefit viewers can support participating in local restaurants by placing curated food orders online via this page and www.futureurbanleaders.org.
