The Young Farmer and Rancher program is hosting an online auction fundraiser. Bidding starts on November 30th at 8 am and closes on Saturday at noon.

What is the Young Farmers & Ranchers Program?

The Young Farmers and Ranchers program consists of participants ages 18-35 who are passionate about agriculture. These young people are involved in leadership development, political advocacy and educational outreach. The YF&R committee hosts a variety of events during the year from district levels to state. A favorite is the Fall tour where a region of Texas is selected and agricultural businesses are toured by participants.

If you would like to 'meet' the Young Farmer and Rancher Committee, you can do so here.

What do the auction proceeds go to?

The money collected from the auction is given away to deserving high school and college students in the form of scholarships.

This past year, the committee awarded 13 scholarships valued at $1000 each to high school seniors across the state. They also awarded 3 scholarships valued at $2000 to young people currently enrolled in college.

How can you help?

The more items we have the more money we can raise for scholarships, so we're asking for your help. In the past, we have received a variety of items ranging from children's toys, tools, jewelry and home goods.

If you would like to donate items for the YF&R auction, simply click the "Donate Items" button on the right side of the screen.
