Freedom Community Historical Society is getting ready to run an online auction fundraiser.

Starting on October 24, 2021, Freedom Community Historical Society will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our organization - and the more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.

Keen Hall Restoration Project

Restoration of Keen Hall will provide a much needed center for community engagement. As a symbol of the Town's educational and cultural history, the repurposed homestead will provide an attractive meeting place for socialization and a new resource for people seeking employment information or details on how to start a small business or how to market a craft. Over a cup of coffee and a muffin, resource representatives from State agencies, nearby colleges or businesses can provide needed connections. Eventually, paid and volunteer staff will be needed to counsel and assist in accessing on line sources. Local historical archives will be processed and displayed to inform and inspire future innovation.
