Starting on November 1st 2021, Bidwell Riverside Center will be auctioning off handmade artisan bowls to shed light on the food insecurity faced by our neighbors in central Iowa and raise funds to support Bidwell Riverside Center's mission to increase stability and self-sufficiency in our community. The auction will close at 8 PM on Thursday November 4th.

Our Food & Clothing Pantry continues to be the largest serving food pantry in Iowa and is a one-stop-shop for essential needs: diapers, baby food, clothing, toiletries, and household goods. All of this, as well as food, is available for free to anyone who walks through the doors. In 2020, the Bidwell pantry served just under 17,000 individuals - the highest number in our 128-year history. Access to food, toiletries, diapers, baby food, formula, clothing, and household items is vital to those living in poverty, and the need is not subsiding. Our Child Development Center has also remained fully operational throughout the pandemic, providing a comprehensive education and care program at an affordable price for children ages 2 to 5 years old.
