The Online Auction is now Open for Bidding.
The 'Sunshine Coast Stands With Ukraine' Online Auction 2022 is now open. Online Bidding will run from Fri 8th April 2022 to Fri 22nd April 2022 at 8.00pm.
All items will be open for further bids at the Live Event at High Beam Dreams on Sat 23rd April 2022 - see Live Event Details below. To ensure the best chance of securing a particular item, register the Maximum you are prepared to spend on that item, and a Bid Clerk will make your bids up to that limit at the Live Event.

We have been blown away by the generosity of artists and others in donating beautiful works of art to raise funds for Ukrainian Humaniterian Relief Charities. The events taking place in Ukraine have motivated an outpouring of support throughout the world, and not least here on the Sunshine Coast. To turn the generosity of donors into cash for the cause we need generous bidders. Please review all the items on offer, and place your bids. To View and Bid Click Here
Please note that when payment is taken from your card for a winning bid, the system will add the usual 3.4% card processing charge. This is to ensure that the charities receive the full amount of your bid.
Live Event Details

The Live Auction Event will take place at High Beam Dreams on Saturday 23rd April starting at 6.00 pm. All items from the Online Auction will be open for further bidding by ticket holders at the Live Event. For most items, this further bidding will be in the form of a traditional Silent Auction - each item will be on display with a bid sheet. The premier pieces of art will go forward to a Live Auction by Gavel controlled by auctioneer Ed Hill.
You can take part in both the Silent Auction and Live Auction even if you can't be present by using Absentee Bidding. For this process, you should enter during the Online Auction a Maximum Bid that you are prepared to pay to secure the item. A member of the Auction Team will then bid on your behalf in the room in the increments set by the Auctioneer, but only up to the maximum you have set. Once the Online bidding has closed you cannot change your Maximum Bid Up To Bid.
We anticipate a lot of competition, especially for the premier items, so if you are not going to be present but want to secure a particular piece we suggest that you set your Maximum Bid as high as you can afford!

Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support those displaced by the appalling events in Ukraine.
The Rotary Club of Gibsons and High Beam Dreams are jointly running this event. We aim to raise $20 000 and the proceeds will be divided between charities working in Ukraine and neighbouring countries, and providing for refugees arriving here on the Sunshine Coast.
