Welcome to the Los Angeles Marriott Business Council's 2022 online silent auction, benefiting the children locally served by Children's Miracle Network and Children's Hospital Los Angeles!
The Los Angeles Marriott Business Council is pleased to announce the return of the Annual Children's Miracle Network Shotgun Golf Tournament! Join us on Monday, September 26, 2022 for our 14th tournament; at the 26-acre westdrift Manhattan Beach, Autograph Collection hotel where we will set the stage for this momentous occasion on their 9 hole, 3-par golf course.
Marriott International holds the honorable distinction of being Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' longest standing corporate partner, 39 years! Since 1983, Marriott International has raised over $140 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals throughout the country. Its associates and guests raise these funds through hosting large-scale events, icon campaigns, conducting unique fundraising events at individual properties, participating in the Torch Relay, and many more.
More than 10 million kids enter a children?s hospital like Children's Hospital Los Angeles across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children?s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children?s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $7 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit?s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution that provides pediatric health care and helps their patients more than half a million times each year in a setting designed just for their needs. Their history began in 1901 in a small house on the corner of Alpine and Castelar Streets (now Hill St. in Chinatown) and today their medical experts offer more than 350 pediatric specialty programs and services to meet the needs of our patients.
CHLA is a provider of more than $316.2 million in community benefits annually to children and families. As the first pediatric hospital in Southern California, CHLA relies on the generosity of philanthropists in the community, such as yourselves, to support compassionate patient care, leading-edge education of the caregivers of tomorrow and innovative research efforts that affect children at our hospital and around the world. With the help of our donors, our 2021 event alone raised over $94,000. Our goal this year is $120,000. This tournament truly provides an excellent opportunity for your organization to be involved and help promote the health and welfare of our local community?s children.

All sales are FINAL. No returns or credits are allowed. The highest acceptable bid received prior to the end of the auction date and time shall be the Buyer, who will assume full risk and responsibility of the lot. All packages are sold. Please inspect all merchandise and read lot descriptions carefully. Hotel accommodations, special events, and dinner packages expire one year from auction date unless otherwise specified. All hotel accommodations/ reservations are subject to space availability. Blackout dates may apply. Unless otherwise indicated, all silent auction travel packages are for two (2) people and do not include airfares, car rentals, or other transportation to and from destinations. Travel packages are subject to blackout and expiration dates in 2022 and 2023. We strongly recommend that you book your travel packages within ninety (90) days of purchase to reserve the dates you prefer. The Los Angeles Marriott Business Council is not responsible for making travel reservations, event planning, or catering arrangements unless otherwise indicated. The purchaser is responsible for researching all applicable passport and visa requirements on foreign travel packages. Dinners and catered events do not include alcoholic beverages, taxes, or gratuities unless otherwise stated.
