The online auction for the Candlelight Walk runs from November 28, 2023 to December 8, 2023.

We are holding our 34th Annuanl Candlelight Walk in the Redwoods. This event is one of our favorites and all proceeds go to support the Redwood National and State Parks.

Redwood Parks Conservancy is an official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, California State Parks, and the U.S. Forest Service. We were established to foster understanding, enjoyment and stewardship of our public lands through educational outreach, visitor services and support of our partners entrusted with the care of public lands along Californias north coast.

Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!

Join Redwood Parks Conservancy for the 34th Annual Candlelight Walk Through the Ancient Redwoods on Saturday, December 2nd & Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 from 5pm-8pm. The Candlelight Walk is held each year as a fundraiser for RPC and the Redwood National and State Parks.

Event is Sold Out!

This beloved community event, held in partnership with California State Parks and the National Park Service, features a nighttime walk through the ancient redwood forest in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park lit by over 500 luminaria. Local storytellers and musicians will fill out the night with stories and songs of winter, the holidays and the redwoods. Hot cider and cookies will be served upon return to the visitors center following the walk! The trail is ADA accessible and less than a 1/2 mile in total to and from the campfire center. No dogs please.
