Where your money goes
Money raised will help with us feed, house, and provide medical care for the dogs and cats in our custody. At any given time, we have approximately 150 animals at our shelter and in foster care. We are a no-kill shelter so we are committed to providing a safe haven for as long as necessary, and as animals are adopted out, we fill the empty space with animals we pull from high kill shelters. All of our animals are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered when they are adopted.
NOTE: Items will be available for pickup at our shelter (39710 Goodpuppy Lane, Aldie, VA 20105). On a limited basis, smaller items can be made available at The Treasure Hound (14508 Lee Rd Ste D, Chantilly, VA 20151) by appointment. If you won the bidding for an item and cannot pick it up at the shelter or The Treasure Hound, you will be responsible for shipping costs. FOHA will work with you to arrange shipment with your carrier of choice. Reasonable care will be taken when packing the item(s). FOHA will not be responsible for breakage or damage during shipment.
