22nd AWIN Golf Classic Fundraiser in Partnership with AVEN to Support Wounded Veterans & their Families

It’s that time of year again! Time to get together and enjoy a great day of golf. This year, lunch and the silent auction will be open to golfers and non-golfers, therefore anyone can partake in the fun & fundraising activities.
The proceeds will go to Fisher House Foundation, best known for a network of comfort homes built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. Enabling families, of service men and women receiving treatment, to stay with their loved one.
Starting on September 1, 2017, Greater Los Angeles Fisher House Foundation will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our organization - and the more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.

Whether you have 1 item or 100 to contribute, your participation is an invaluable part of our fundraising efforts. In addition to helping Veterans in need and their families your donation will give us the opportunity to acknowledge your establishment during the silent auction with the gift clearly marked with your company’s name and a personal shout-out on our site!

Admission for the Golf Tournament will open August 1, 2017.
Golfers: All skill levels, friends and family are welcome. Register as an individual or as part of a team. Tournament format is a four-person scramble. Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd men’s, women’s and co-ed teams. Prizes will be awarded to men and women with the longest drive and ball closest to the pin.
All Participants: This year, lunch and the silent auction will be open to golfers and non-golfers, therefore anyone can partake in the fundraising activities.
- Golfer's Admission (Includes Lunch)
Entry fee of $140.00 per golfer includes green fees, driving range practice, golf cart, luncheon, silent auction, awards ceremony and a minimum of $51.00 donation to the Fisher House Foundation.
- Admission for Lunch & Auction Only
Entry fee of $45.00 per individual wishing to partake in the luncheon, awards ceremony and silent auction only. Includes a minimum of $13.00 donation to the Fisher House Foundation. Luncheon guests may arrive at the club beginning at 12:00 pm.
Provide a second chance to hit a shot without increasing the score and can be used for any shot – drives, fairway shots, chips, putts. Mulligans can be purchased online or during check-in on the day of the tournament
Single: $10 each
Three: $20 (maximum per person)
- Helicopter Golf Ball Drop
A fundraiser presented for the benefit of the Fisher House Foundation. Purchase tickets to be entered into the Helicopter Golf Ball Drop. Ball in or closet to the hole wins a Luxury European River Cruise for Two on Select Paris & Normandy or Christmas Markets Itineraries sailing in 2017 or 2018, offered by AmaWaterways.
Participants may purchase as many balls as they wish.
Single ball: $10
Five balls: $40
In the event that multiple balls go into the designated hole, the ball resting at the bottom of the flag will receive the Prize. In the event there are multiple balls with the exact, same measurements, closest to flag stick, then these same balls will be selected at random to determine the winner. Winner is defined as the participant whose name appears on the purchase form corresponding to the numbered golf ball that is dropped.
The value of the cruise donation ranges between $5,600 to $7,500 per stateroom. Land program, stateroom upgrades, transfers and flights may be purchased at an additional cost and will be subject to the AmaWaterways cancellation policy. Port charges ($168 per person), gratuities and onboard incidentals are not included and are the responsibility of the passenger(s). Additional terms and conditions can be found on the certificate.
Completion of a consent form is required. Following registration expect an e-mail including a consent form to be completed by each participant. Please print and bring completed consent forms to check-in on September 11, 2017.

Remember that the amount listed as tax deductible on your receipt is the total amount of money donated that is eligible for Amgen Foundation Matching.

- Vitality Points:
Golf tournament participants will earn 200 Vitality Points under “Employer Sponsored Event”. On the day of the tournament, sign in at registration to receive your points.
