The Oregon State Beekeepers Association's Fall Conference will be celebrating our CENTENNIAL. The event will be held at the Florence Events Center in Florence Oregon.

For those unable to attend in person, the program will be published via Zoom.

Like all others, the current pandemic has kept members apart, but not out of work. Many members are 'commercial beekeepers' vital to the agricultural community in pollinating crops.

Through the support of members, significant research is afforded to support bees both honey and native.

BEE RESEARCH FUNDING

In 1921 a small group of beekeepers put forth effort to create the Oregon State Beekeepers Association for mutual learning and enjoyment. The organization keeps abreast of legislative issues at the local, state, and national level.

As part of its outreach, OSBA funded and supported the creation of the Oregon Master Beekeeper Program. The three tier program is unique in that at the Apprentice Level, each student is assigned a Mentor to complete the circle of learning from didactic to practical.

The object of the Oregon State Beekeepers Association's VIRTUAL Auction is funding bee research. In past years an 'in person' auction transpired. In 2020 the auction has shifted to a VIRTUAL Again this year, 2021, the auction will be VIRTUAL. All monies go to advance research.
