eBuy for Education 2017 is coming soon!
eBuy for Education 2017 will take place June 5-10, 2017.
One hundred percent of funds raised will be used to provide educational resources to schools in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Independent journalism from trusted sources is more important now than ever. Please help us to put it in the hands of students and teachers by participating in eBuy for Education 2017.
The Tampa Bay Times Newspaper in Education program (NIE) serves educators and students by providing schools with class sets of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Tampa Bay Times plus lesson plans, teacher guides, classroom materials and many more resources – all at no cost to schools, teachers or families.
Thanks to our generous supporters, NIE provided more than 1.8 million print copies and 10 million digital editions of the Times to area classrooms in 2015-2016.
NIE is a member of Florida Press Educational Services Inc. (FPES), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of newspaper professionals that promotes literacy, particularly for young people. FPES was founded in 1980 as Florida Newspaper in Education Coordinators, Inc.
