The Washington Area Bicyclist Association is seeking sponsors for our 2008 Gala and Benefit Auction scheduled for April 12th, 2008 at the beautiful Embassy of Germany.
As we enter our 36th year of creating better bicycling in the Washington region, our organization is stronger than ever with over 14,000 members and supporters. WABA has been making great strides in the region through our advocacy and educational efforts, and with your help we can keep this momentum going.
Last year’s auction at the House of Sweden raised $40,000 and drew 350 participants from the international, business and non-profit community in and around Washington, DC. With your generosity, we are confident that next year’s event will be our most successful Gala to date. I’m writing today to see if your company would be willing to help us achieve our fundraising goal by helping underwrite the cost of the event.
In return for your sponsorship, your firm or company will be prominently identified at the event, and, depending on the size of your contribution, also recognized on our website, in our on-line and print communications with our members, and in all of the auction materials.
