Item Description
BLONDE is a daring depiction of the majestic nature of horses by one of America’s most eminent photographers and artists of our day. Christopher Makos apprenticed with photographer Man Ray in Paris and collaborated with Andy Warhol. Makos’ notable career spans decades, photographing icons of our time including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Salvador Dali and Mick Jagger. His signature style is evident in Blonde - part of a series of photographs he did with encounters with horses. His work is exhibited both nationally and internationally, including in the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Bilboa and the Tate Modern in London. www.makostudio.com
