Item Description

This year’s bottle features the artwork of Louisville artist Keith Anderson and honors what Woodford Reserve, the Presenting Sponsor of the Kentucky Derby, calls “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports.” This is the 20th anniversary for the Derby bottle—and a special year-long exhibit at the Frazier History Museum, will celebrate that milestone.

The limited-edition 2019 Woodford Reserve Derby bottle features thoroughbreds racing across the bottle and is the colorful artwork of Keith Anderson. This is the second year that Anderson, who works in the Bourbon Street Café at Brown-Forman headquarters in Louisville, has been chosen to have his work featured on the collectible annual release.

The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. The perfectly balanced taste of our Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is comprised of more than 200 detectable flavor notes, from bold grain and wood, to sweet aromatics, spice, and fruit & floral notes.
