Irene B. Allen's formal education was in biology, but she has always been making art. Irene studied at the RI School of Design and has exhibited drawings, silkscreen prints, soft-sculpture and paintings throughout New England. She has received a number of awards and is a member of several art associations, including the AAM.
With Garden Reds, the artist wanted to capture the brilliance of color in her garden as this daylily performed. Each bud proudly claims attention for just one day while other buds wait their turn. ireneallenart.com

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 5-9, 2019. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
