Join us for a night of live music, dancing and a silent auction while we watch the sunset! We'll be celebrating everything we've created together as a Little Leaf community and raising money for a Scholarship Fund so that other local families can give their kids the same incredible Little Leaf experience.
We have a live (silent) auction with items like vacation getaways, special experiences and weekend day trips for your kids with their Little Leaf teachers! Bring your mobile device so you can bid until the last minute! No limits on screen time tonight!
Your ticket gets you a complimentary glass of Prosecco, entry into a raffle full of great prizes, a free S'well water bottle (which you can use for the free beer we'll have on tap) and as much as you can eat from our potluck dessert table.
In the spirit of summer, it's a BYO picnic, blanket and your drinks of choice (wine, spirits, etc.) but for anyone who wants a night off from packed lunches there'll be a few food options to buy on-site.
Please invite friends and family to purchase tickets and join us as well.

This year, we are opening the forest walls to families that need financial assistance to attend Little Leaf by launching our scholarship fund. We believe deeply that early childhood deserves be full of play, love, and the great outdoors. Sadly, too many children do not have access to learning environments that honor the essence of childhood. We want to partner with families and ensure that finances are not an obstacle for those who are seeking a learning experience rooted in human and nature connections.
Vivienne Gluck, a Sassafras mom who works on global peace projects through the Rule of Law Collaborative, started an independent non-profit called Little Seeds of Peace, and we are the first school to benefit from its fundraising efforts. Its mission is to build peace and social justice through early childhood education. With Melita Love, a Sugar Maple mom and accountant, as the treasurer, Little Seeds of Peace is now welcoming donations specifically earmarked for several families to receive partial or full scholarships to join Little Leaf. We are setting aside spots as our enrollment continues to sell out every year, even though we are continuously and joyously expanding!
Our biggest fundraiser is the Sunset Party and Silent Auction that will take place on Sat. June 15 from 5-9:30 PM at The Cedar Tree Hill (adjacent to the shuffle board and Waiting Tree.) Bring your own picnic blanket and dinner (or buy food from the food truck(s), if that brings more ease!) Come mingle, enjoy live music as the sun sets over the Palisades, and bid on your favorite adventures and items that our community is donating.Perhaps you'll want to bid on a family vacation at the Ritz Carlton in Florida or to have your family tree created by David Bernstein, an expert geneologist. There are also special gifts for your child including playdates with their favorite teachers.
The more we give, the greater ability to enrich our school community. We are so grateful for all your support and participation and look forward to dancing together on June 15th!
