15th Annual Seaside Gala

The 15th Annual Seaside Gala will be held at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI on June 7, 2018. This country music themed event consists of fundraising activities, a cocktail hour, sit down dinner, an online auction, live band, and an awards presentation. The Leading Corporate Sponsor is Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, and the Honorary Event Chairperson is M. Teresa Paiva Weed, President, Hospital Association of Rhode Island.

The following individuals and businesses will be honored with the agency's Vision Award at the event: Worldways Social Marketing, Susan Dickstein, Associate Professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Department of Psychiatry and Director of the Bradley Hospital Early Childhood Clinical Research Center (part of the Bradley Hasbro Children's Research Center), Emily Spence, Coordinator, Bristol Health Equity Zone, and the Students and Volunteers of the Walking School Bus at Newport's Pell Elementary School. The Town of Warren, RI will be recognized with the agency's Public Service Award.

Each year East Bay Community Action Program serves 30,000 people from 10 Rhode Island cities and towns with an array of health and human services. Proceeds from the event will support all agency programs.

Dressy informal.  With this year's country music theme, cowboy boots, hats, big buckles, bandanas, turquoise and other "bling" are also welcome.  It's going to be a boot scootin' country music kind of night!
