2019 WWS Fundraising Gala and Auction

St. Francis Hall did not disappoint. The setting was beautiful, the temperature “just right,” and the rain held off until all of the dancing and bidding was done! And on top of a good time, we raised $100,000 for financial aid.

Thank you to Jane Christenson and the HS drama students (Katherine Nastick, Mia Dimmer, Elizabeth Nebiker, Ella Caldwell, Karen Bamfo, and Masha Mandrugina) for giving up part of their Saturday night to perform a little Shakespeare! Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who went above and beyond throughout the planning and up to the minute of the gala: JC Forgotson, Vanessa Beckman, Cate Gaffney, and Sarah Vakkur. Thank you to Vicky Tay, who helped with set up, and thank you to all of those who helped with clean up during the pouring rain: Tove Elfstrom, Aglaia Benni, Nevin Bender, Shelly and Andre Hackman, and Clare and Laurent Andre.

We also want to thank Alia Goodyear for her inspiring reflection and finally, a huge thank you to Taisto Saloma, our extraordinary auctioneer, who gave his time and wit to make the evening a great success!
